Leah/Ayla

I heard a crazy rumor... I will probably kill Square for putting this in CC...At the end of CC, if you took Leah with you, she will say as her "goodbye quote" that if she get a child someday, she will...

Re: Leah/Ayla

I haven't played nearly far enough yet to get Leah, but her resemblance to Ayla already annoys me.

Nver had leah with me at the end, but I seem to recall leah saying that after beating the green dragon....My two cents...

Re: Leah/Ayla

Does she talk like Ayla? How the heck did she get into A.D. 1020? Timegate?

Re: Leah/Ayla

That's kind of what I was wondering.

Re: Leah/Ayla

Another thing, why in the heck would she BE in 1020? She has no reason to be, Lavos is deader 'n' a bowl of scrambled eggs.

I ever need a random, profound statement, I'm coming to you, Corsair.

Re: Leah/Ayla

Don't you just love my random metaphors? It's like a thousand Imp Aces converging on a Lavos.

Re: Leah/Ayla

I just though about something... I know it sounds crazy but there is no other reason I could get with...Gaea Novel was there before the appearence of Chronopolis in El Nido. Could it be that this...

Re: Leah/Ayla

I suppose it's possible that the area exists outside the flow of time. But then again, if Ayla's child got in there, and NEVER gave birth until at least 1020 A.D., the ENTIRE time stream would rip...

Re: Leah/Ayla

Oh, sure. But we're talking prehistoric era, guys. Medical science was...nonexistant, and the likelyhood of surviving giving birth was...um...very minute. Ayla was tough, but tough don't cut it when...

Re: Leah/Ayla

Yeah, well...prehistoric science didn't exactly allow for birth control, either. You know what they say...If at first you don't succeed...(or if at second [2nd], in this case)

Re: Leah/Ayla

And..why would Ayla have needed birth-control? Good gravy, it's not like she was...well...you know, it's not even worth saying, it'd probably be censored by the site, anyway, but you know what I mean....

Re: Leah/Ayla

Heh...I didn't exactly mean that. Remember the new FMV for Chrono Trigger's ending? It depicts Ayla and Kino getting married. I was thinking more about THEM than...well...anyone else. So, I wasn't...

Re: Leah/Ayla

Look not only is she strong, but seriusly a woman could have given more than one birth. And in any event if they didn't have multiple children the population would decrease....My two cents...

Re: Leah/Ayla

I agree with Kit on that one, Corsair5 (heh heh). Oh and thank you for putting a very disturbing image in my head.

Re: Leah/Ayla

You have a point, Corsair. Medical science would have yielded far more deaths to mothers giving birth. But, in any case, it still is possible. Kit also has a point in mentioning her strength.

Re: Leah/Ayla

I was just pointing out that it isn't like today, where the percentage of childbirth deaths is like 0.001% of the time. One in like 100,000 births, I think. Probably less.
